Angels & Angel Healing

You don’t need to be religious to believe in Angels and you don’t need to follow a particular religious belief to have an angel sit by your side, comfort you, help you and just be with you.  All you need to do is put your trust in these heavenly beings that only want what is right and good for you.

The word Angel derives from the Greek word a “Angelos” which literally means “messenger”.  So the literal definition of an Angel could be perceived as: “a divine messenger”, although there are many definitions readily available nowadays.  Here are just a few of the most common ones:

·         A force of light working for a higher power

·         A celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth

·         A messenger linking God and man

·         A kind and lovable person; one who manifests goodness, purity, and selflessness

·         A Guardian, divine or semi-divine, who is able to work with humanity for a number of purposes.

·         The light of truth, wisdom, guidance, a coming birth or death, literally or figuratively.

These Celestial beings are grouped into nine ranks: angels, archangels, principalities, powers, virtues, dominions, thrones, cherubim and seraphim.

The Spiritual Hierarchy within the Angel ranks is as follows:

1 - SERAPHIM  - The highest order in the hierarchy, said to surround the throne of God.

2 - CHERUBIM  - The guardians of the light and the stars. 

3 - THRONES  - Known as the Angels of the planets and protectors of the world.

4 - DOMINIONS - Integrators between the spiritual and the material worlds.

5 - VIRTUES - Creators and distributors of immense positive energy for planets and individuals alike

6 - POWERS - They are bearers of the collective human conscience, the keepers of humanity’s history.

7 - PRINCIPALITIES - They are the guardian angels of all large groups, from cities and nations to large corporations.

8 - ARCHANGELS  - They are the ones most concerned with all aspects of human endeavours. 

Most of you will have heard of the four most familiar archangels who are: 

Gabriel who’s name means – God is my strength - and who may be called upon for opening creative channels and for communication skills.  This Angel is also known as being the messenger for birth and rebirth, just as much physical as abstract, i.e. as in the case of creativity mentioned above.

Michaelwho’s name means – He who is like God - and who may be called upon to eliminate fear and vulnerability.  He offers emotional and physical support and comforts you in times of trouble.

Raphael who’s name means – God heals - and who may be called upon for healing of all kinds.  Releasing hurt and hurtful situations to this Angel means surrendering your problems to God for healing and having faith in the fact that God and the Angels are here to help you.  You are not alone and should not bare the burdens alone.

Uriel who’s name means – God is light – and who may be called upon to oversee the trials and tribulations of every day living and decision making.  Uriel offers wisdom and truth by illuminating the correct path that needs to be followed in order to achieve the desired end result.

9 - ANGELS  - They are the ones who are closest to humanity and closest to us as individuals.  They are also known as our guardian angels and they are our life long companions.
 

God gave man free will, so the Angels will never interfere with your life of their own initiative.  You have to ask for their help, you have to welcome them into your everyday life, into your home, into your family and into your heart.  They long to hear from you.  They want to help; they are ready to help, but they will only do so if you ask them. 

Asking them for help is not placing a burden on them.  They are happy to help you, they exist to help you and by asking for their help and guidance, no matter how trivial, you help to keep them alive, you help them to shine even brighter.
